Anna Wotlińska (acting Director)

Doctor of humanities, graduate of the Faculty of Polish Philology of the University of Warsaw. Her scholarly interests include European press of the 1920s and 1930s. Employee of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from 2002 until 2020, responsible for cultural, media and information-related education, co-ordinating interministerial strategies in the field, and designing grant programmes. As a first-term Polish Board of Sign Language member, co-ordinated culture accessibility issues under the aegis of the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy. Digital Poland Project Centre expert in media education, and in digitising cultural and scientific resources. Collaborated i.a. with the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia in Katowice, Institute of Applied Polish Studies of the University of Warsaw, Polish History Museum, and POLONIKA National Institute of Polish Cultural Heritage Abroad. Has been heading the Polish Institute of Linguistic Diversity from the day of its forming.
