Assistant professor at the Institute of Slavic Languages of the Polish Academy of Sciences; postdoctoral researcher at the Centre for Regional Studies of the University of Ostrava. Sociolinguist, folklorist, ethnologist. Vilamovian active in revitalising the Vilamovian language, scholar of the culture of Vilamovians and the Silesian-Małopolska (Lesser Poland) borderland. Member of the Vilamovians’ Association, and Polish Ethnological Society. Author of multiple papers and books with a Vilamovian focus. Collaborates with the Centre of Research and Practice of Cultural Continuity of the “Artes Liberales” Faculty of the University of Warsaw.
