Linguist. Her scholarly interests include contemporary Polish language, sociolinguistics, ethnolinguistics and the language of politics. Currently studying neologisms, and working on (with her team) Słownik polskich neologizmów (Dictionary of Polish Neologisms) at the Language Observatory of the University of Warsaw. Chairperson of the Council of the Polish Language Council of the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
